Fashion Week, Fashion Trends, Fashion Rocks The House!
The season's about to change, ladies. Soon it will be time to swoon into Fall. Just like you, I've been reading, watching, and seeing what's out there, what's being touted as new for the upcoming season. Here are some things I think are worth looking into in the next couple of weeks:
Glam Trend: We're hearing all about skinny jeans, wide-leg
pants, leggings, ruffles, the menswear look, army-navy, bubble skirts, plaid, fur, brocade, metallics, the color red, platform shoes, and on and on it goes. Where does it stop? For me, it's high-heeled booties. I love these sleek ones (right) fr
om Gucci. Find them at Bergdorf Goodman for $795. Another pair I like are from Marc Jacobs (left). These are the "platform slouch booties." Look for them at Nordstrom for $985. Wear booties with a dress or skirt (not pants) and opaque tights. Of course, you can also take a less costly shortcut: Page 124 of the September Lucky says it's okay to wear socks and heels to achieve the same look. Just make sure the sock is the same color as the shoe and rises a few inches above the ankle.
Glam Dates: September 5th-- The series premier of "Fashion House" on My Network TV.A five-nights-a-week TV drama in this day and age? Who has the time? I think most people will opt for the Saturday night weekly recap. September 8th-- Fashion Rocks, the prime-time music special, to air on CBS. Music and fashion together. Yum! September 8th-15th-- New York Fashion Week. Need I say more? September 1st-30th--30 Days of Fashion. Thirty days of events and daily giveaways. Get more info at 30 Days of Fashion.Com.
Glam Product: I was recently given the opportunity to be a guest blogger for themakeupgirl while she takes a well-deserved vacation. I will be reviewing two products, Monday the 21st and Friday, the 25th. Please take a look and, I hope you find things interesting and informative.
Buzzing off for now...

I can't wait for fashion week! I love to see the makeup the designers put their models in for their collections...
Hi there! Just wanted to say thanks for stopping by my blog earlier. Your blog is very style-y and cool--I love it. I'm into the opaque tights paired with boots idea. ;-)
