A Crafty, Heady, Sunday

Today I went down to Crafts On Columbus (Avenue), a twice-yearly fair sponsored by The American Arts & Crafts Alliance. It was the last day of the fair so, I do apologize for not posting early enough to give you a chance to see for yourself.

I'm a woman with a generously-sized head, to put it as delicately as I can. I can never seem to find a cute winter hat to wear and always end up running the risk of one being blown off my head or, worse, settling for a boring, unstylish ski cap. Imagine my delight when I discovered Cloz's (pronounced "clothes") at Crafts on Columbus today! I looked through the selections and found not one or two plain-loooking big hats, but dozens of cute, stylish winter hats, in all sizes! I knew I had to get more than one. When was I going to have this opportunity again? I chose the two above. (My apologies for the poor photo. Trust me, they are cute!) They're made of microfiber polyester and the flowers are removable. They set me back $38.00 a piece and it was well worth it.

Cloz's doesn't have a website but, their phone number is (845) 434-9069. The gentleman at the booth let me know they'd be at a Union Square crafts show in December. I'll check it out and let you know all about it. As for Crafts on Columbus, the Spring 2007 edition will be the weekends of April 28 and 29th, and May 5th, 6th, 12th, and 13th. I'm putting it on my calendar now!

Buzzing off for now...

Thank you for your enjoyment of the Cloz's products! For your information, the web site for Clozs is being created as we speak. You can find the web site at http://clozs.homestead.com As time goes on it will become more user-friendly, I just started it last week!
Thanks, Pat Johanson
