Pilgrim's Progress

Since I quit my job last month, I've felt just like a Pilgrim. Having left a situation where I felt unable to grow and thrive, I am now in a foreign land and I'm not sure what will happen. So perhaps it was fitting that I was in Saks Fifth Avenue this afternoon, staring at Roger Vivier's Pilgram Buckle Flats.

I have coveted these shoes ever since I first discovered them nearly two years ago. I put off purchasing them at that time, and though I have the $475, I would need to have my head examined if I bought them now.
So today I tried to satisfy my craving by simply touching and cradling these classically beautiful shoes. As I walked out of the store, I was hopeful that the hard-fought-for success of the original Pilgrims will come my way as well. I will then be able to return to Saks for my reward.

Buzzing of for now...

Such gorgeous colors on these shoes, which reminds me that I need to incorporate more colors into my shoes.
