Recently I mentioned my new interest in and involvement with Divabetic, an organization started by the personal assistant to singer Luther Vandross. Divabetic is a community-based organization providing an upbeat mixture of diabetes education and encouragement for women living with or affected by the disease. It is very much a grass-roots effort and, as such, appreciates the support of people like you.
