NY Fashion Week, Fall 07: Michon Schur

One of last night's shows was that of Michon Schur. The designer of Michon Schur is Stephanie Schur, wife of Geffen Records head Jordan Schur. Perhaps for this reason her work, after five short seasons, has been seen on women like Kirsten Dunst, Rachel Bilson, Penelope Cruz, and Rosario Dawson. Yes, it pays to have connections, but I think Mrs Schur would have done well enough without them.

The key to this collection is wearability. I'm enjoying all the fantasy-like collections this week, but when I see something I may actually be able to wear, I start to feel like my own fantasies are coming true.
