This quote comes from Environmental Working Group Skin Deep, a website devoted to tracking the safety of cosmetics, skincare and other grooming products. The site tracks ingredients in over 14,000 products, providing safety ratings and brand-by-brand comparisons for just about all of them. My friend Janie told me about this site, and she was able to find out which of the products she was using are tested on animals. (She's since thrown them out.) Sound interesting? Have a look!
