Propoline Natural Products: Nectar of The Bees

Recently I discovered a wonderful line of natural health and beauty products called Propoline. Made by the Greek-based natural products company Apivita, Propoline products are made from honey and beeswax, as well as natural extracts derived from Greek flora. The key ingredient in Propoline products, however, is propolis, a substance produced by bees in order to build a protective, sterile wall around their hives.

My introduction to Propoline came after I attended a Sniffapalooza master class at Saks Fifth Avenue here in New York City a few weeks ago. (The master class was all about Creed Fragrances. I loved Angelique Encens!) When it ended we went down to New London Pharmacy in Chelsea, where we were given gift bags with a variety of things to try. No two gift bags were exactly the same. In addition to several other interesting products, my bag had two Propoline products in it: Olive and Chamomile Shower Gel for Sensative Skin (right) and Olive and Cocoa Butter Hand Cream (left).

Seeing olive and chamomile in the list of ingredients didn't make me immediately want to try the shower gel, and I'm sort of jaded when it comes to hand creams; I've tried so many over the years and very few have really lived up to their claims. Well I can add Propoline's Olive and Cocoa Butter Hand Cream to that list of very few. The shower gel gets a thumbs up from me, too. Propoline is, well, bee-eautiful!
