The Beckhams Are Here

The Savior of American Soccer is here! [stifled laughter] David Beckham arrived here in the US this week to start his career with the L A Galaxy. With him came his Posh wife, Victoria.

When I heard that this past-his-prime soccer star was going to pull a Pele (try to get Americans interested in soccer), I thought, I could care less. I still felt the same way when he and Victoria flew in this week, until my copy of W arrived in the mail yesterday. What a photo spread! So this is what all the fuss is about!

The photos in this W feature were taken by Steven Klein and the stylist was Camilla Nickerson. Victoria looks pretty in the photos, but David looks absolutely hot!! Even if he does nothing at all for soccer here, he'll at least provide more eye candy for American women.

As for Victoria, her denim line and her sunglasses collection will both be sold at Saks Fifth Avenue. Also, fragrance lovers should be on the lookout for Beckham, available in both a man's and a woman's version.
