Green By Nature: Skincare By The Percentages

With the New Year here I feel compelled to make a resolution to do more to help save the environment. However, knowing my previous failed attempts at this, I don't dare. I'll just do what I can and, in the end, maybe we'll all come up smelling like roses.

Green By Nature makes it easy for all of us to do what we can. They make skincare products that are 100% paraben free, 100% sulfate free and 100% D.E.A. free. All of the products have at least 90% all natural ingredients. They also contribute 1% of their net annual sales to grassroots environmental groups. Definitely skincare by the percentages.

A while ago I received samples of both their lip butters and their hand washes in a variety of different scents. I tried them all and found myself coming back to two scents again and again: chamomile rose and lavender vanilla. One of the lip butters I received was chamomile rose. It smells just like a fresh rose bouquet. I experienced the lavender vanilla in both the lip butter and the hand wash and the combination of sweet vanilla and soothing lavender is simply wonderful. Also, the lip butters each have a taste. Though I'm not blown away by their scents, the coconut milk and banana shea lip butters both taste delicious.

So while I'm still struggling to become environmentally responsible, I'm at least having an easier time of it with Green By Nature.
