What It's All About

A few weeks ago a young woman named Vicky Zhou contacted me to ask if she could include this blog in a book she is writing about internet resources. After I told her I was happy to oblige she asked if there was a blurb about me or the blog she could include in the book. That got me to thinking about the "meaning of life," so to speak. Why am I doing this? What is this blog all about? Here is what I came up with:

"What is a glamour bee? Well, think of the bumble bee. Although it’s not supposed to ergonomically, the bumble bee manages to lift itself up and fly. I like to think of myself as sort of a bumble bee when it comes to glamour. I’m not a fashionista or a beauty junkie. I’m just an average American woman who struggles with eyeliner and heels but still wants to walk out of the house everyday looking my best. The Glamorous Bee is about how I try to accomplish that."

So, there it is. Now, excuse me while I go back to correcting my eyeliner and steadying myself in my heels.
