Curly and Frizz Free

I wear a curly afro, so I try to use products that contain more natural ingredients than chemicals-I don't want damaged hair! I always seek new products that fit that bill so I can have a variety to choose from. Last week, I tried Aveda's Be Curly styling product.

This product is best for curly and wavy hair, but surprisingly, it works well on African-American hair as well. The key ingredients are aloe, wheat protein, and marshmallow root. I had great results. I applied this after I washed my hair. To achieve the curly look, I coiled my hair while it was damp. After my hair dried, I took the coils out and had curls that were more defined than usual. I was free of frizz all day; I love this stuff! For anyone with curly hair issues, this product will be your friend. Be curly!

Aveda works. Mixed Chicks products do a good job, too. Here is a link comparing the two: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ahYIgjroWo

Will this product work with my wet dry flat iron? I'll have to see. Thank you. http://www.myhairstylingtools.com/flat-iron-p-314.html
