New York Fashion Week Spring 09: Backstage At Baby Phat, Pt 1

Just got home from my trip backstage at the Baby Phat Show. Wow! Talk about chaos. The backstage area was this tiny little space off-stage that was probably no bigger than a nice-sized studio apartment. About two-thirds of it was reserved for the outfits and the people who'd be dressing the models. The remaining third was for the hair stylists and makeup artists. This hair and makeup area couldn't have been more than six-feet wide and about 30 feet long.

I'll have more about this foray backstage in the coming days, including details on the makeup used (MAC's) and the hair (Linea Pro). Until then, enjoy some photos I took with the camera on my new Blackberry. They're a little grainy but interesting nonetheless:
