Amid Allegations, "A-Roid" Escapes To The Bahamas

Even if you don't follow sports you must have heard the latest about Alex Rodriguez.

A-Rod hasn't told the country his side of the story yet. When the allegations broke over the wekeend, he wasn't even in the country, as a matter of fact. He was at this posh retreat in the Bahamas:

This is the Aura Nightclub at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. According to published reports this is how he spent the weekend after the steroid bombshell was dropped:

"[Alex Rodriguez] kicked back in the 70-degree island air with his sexy entourage in tow and a personal butler waiting in his $15,450... Rodriguez avoided any 'roid rage by staying at the luxurious Atlantis Resort, one of his favorite escapes. He crashed in a two-bedroom suite in the exclusive and lush Cove section of the hotel, complete with private gardens, waterfalls and a butler. Atlantis is home to the Bahamas' largest casino, a $15 million marina with lagoons, waterfalls, a world-class golf course, underwater ruins - and the decadent Aura Nightclub.
The club is elevated above the casino floor. Guests take a grand spiral staircase to the club level, where the gigantic dance floor is encircled by plush VIP seating..."
