Lush's Coalface Cleanser

For many years I've been searching for the best facial cleanser. I have tried so many products that I've lost count. I finally found one that really cleans the dirt and oil from my face the best: Lush's Coalface Cleanser. For the past few months I had a bout with acne and now it's finally clearing up.

I always walked by the Lush stores without giving them much thought. I just had no interest in going in. But when my breakouts kept getting worse, no matter what product I used, I got fed up. I decided to try Lush, since they boast that their products are fresh and handmade.

When I went into the store, the salesperson was very helpful in determining which cleanser was best for my skin. I have combination-oily skin, so the perfect one for me was the Coalface. I wasn't sure about it, though, because the soap was a little expensive and it smelled kind of medicinal. I bought it anyway.

I felt a difference the first time I tried it. For the first time ever, my face felt CLEAN. Yes, it was a little dried out by the soap, but it felt so healthy. This black soap became my miracle worker.

At first I didn't like that I paid $12 for a small piece of this soap, but guess what: I still have it, almost 2 months later. So, it was a great investment. My only issue with Lush is that not all of their products are "organic"or "fresh" as they claim. This cleanser isn't exactly pure and has some chems in it, but I'm okay with that. It didn't break out my skin at all.
