A Visit To DEX Studios
Last Friday I had the opportunity to visit DEX Studios, located in Manhattan. Models were there getting ready for the Stephen Burrows show, part of New York Fashion Week. I had the pleasure of speaking with John Henry (left, with a model) who is a makeup artist for DEX.
As he put the finish
ing touches on a model's face, he told me that it was “exciting to do the makeup for the Stephen Burrows show...he is a true legend.” The makeup up he used was DEX's own. Mr. Henry described the makeup line as “wonderful and fashionable,” and added that the line brings the "runway to the office." Because the makeup is mineral-based, it has natural and anti-aging properties. He explained that this is a plus because women won’t have to worry about skin irritation. The makeup can be bought online or in-studio.
DEX Studios is multi-functional. Besides being a makeup studio, it's a photography and progressive hair studio as well.

I totally agree. I find DEX's mineral-based make up line to be extremely innovative and unique. It's especially good for sensitive skin, and colors always appear exactly the way you saw it before it's applied. I highly recommend this line to those looking for natural product based make up.
